Privacy Policy
This policy explains how EILAE collects and uses personal data on drinkeilae.com, what your rights are, and how to contact us. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are

What we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Which form you used (top of page or bottom of page) and the time you signed up.
- Your flavour preference, if you choose to share it after signing up. This is optional.
When you visit the site
- Technical data needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is processed by our hosting provider in short-lived server logs.
- Your cookie choice, stored in your browser so we remember it.
- Analytics and marketing data — only if you accept those cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Marketing emails and unsubscribing
By joining the waitlist you agree to receive emails about EILAE's launch, early access and products. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to malte@drinkeilae.com or jonas@drinkeilae.com. Unsubscribing does not affect anything we did before you withdrew your consent.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers (data processors) who handle data only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement:
- Email platform — Klaviyo (Klaviyo, Inc., USA): stores the waitlist and sends our emails.
- Website hosting — Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA): delivers the site and keeps server logs.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.): only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and TikTok Pixel (TikTok Technology Ltd.): only if you accept marketing cookies.
Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. When that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist data: until launch and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you unsubscribe, withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it earlier.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months, after which we ask again.
- Analytics and marketing cookies: see the durations in our Cookie Policy.
- Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, typically a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to our processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time

You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk, or to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live.
Children
The waitlist is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we will let waitlist members know by email.
